Some articles on Picklepedia include dramatized or composite characters inspired by real events. Identifying details may be changed to protect privacy.

Picklepedia uses both human editors and AI-assisted tools to support and speed up its editorial process and content production. All final editorial decisions are made by our team.

Your use of the site and any related applications is at your own risk.

2. Use of the Site and App

You agree to use Picklepedia only for lawful purposes. You may not:

3. Donations

Picklepedia operates as a for-profit business dedicated to building high-quality educational and community resources for the pickleball community.

When you make a donation or contribution:

  • Donations are voluntary and not tax-deductible.

  • All payments are processed securely via third-party platforms such as GiveWP, Stripe, and PayPal.

  • Picklepedia does not store full payment card information.

  • Donations are non-refundable once processed.

  • Donor information (such as name, email, and amount) is stored for receipt and recordkeeping purposes and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • We may use donation data internally to improve our services, but we do not sell, rent, or trade donor data to third parties.

  • Acceptance of any donation is at our sole discretion, and contributions will not influence editorial content, coverage, or rankings in any way.

  • We respect requests for donor anonymity; only essential team members will have access to identifying information.

  • We do not offer commissions or referral fees to third parties for directing donations.

We do not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Donors are encouraged to consult their professional advisors before making a contribution.

4. User Accounts

If Picklepedia or its applications allow you to create an account, you are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activity under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately at serve@picklepedia.org of any unauthorized access or suspected breach.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

5. Google Sign-In and Authentication

When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive limited information (your name, email address, and Google user ID).
This information is used solely to authenticate your account and manage access.

We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, or any unrelated Google data.
Use of Google data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

6. User Submissions

If you submit content—such as comments, feedback, stories, or suggestions—you grant Picklepedia a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, or adapt that content for editorial and promotional purposes.

You represent that your submissions are original and do not violate the rights of others.

Picklepedia may include links to third-party websites or resources. These are provided for convenience only.
We do not endorse or control the content of external sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices or terms of use.
