Welcome to Picklepedia — a community-driven encyclopedia built to protect and grow the game of pickleball.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit or use picklepedia.org, app.picklepedia.org, and related online services (collectively, “Picklepedia,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

Picklepedia operates digital platforms and tools for players, coaches, and pickleball enthusiasts.

• Pages viewed, time spent on site, and referral links

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as financial account numbers, health data, or government IDs.

4. Google Sign-In (OAuth Login)

When you use Google Sign-In, Picklepedia receives only:

• Your email address

• Your Google user ID

This data is used exclusively for authentication and account management.
We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, contacts, or any other Google data.

Your Google account data:

• Is stored securely and used only as long as necessary

• Is never sold or shared with advertisers

• Can be deleted upon request

We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

5. Donations and Payments

Picklepedia accepts donations through GiveWP, integrated with Stripe and PayPal.

When you donate, we collect:

• Name and email address

• Donation amount and date

• Payment method (e.g., credit card or PayPal – tokenized, not stored)

Picklepedia does not store or have access to full payment card information.
All financial data is processed securely by the payment provider.

Donation records are retained only as necessary to:

• Provide receipts or donor support

• Maintain accurate accounting and tax compliance

• Detect and prevent fraudulent activity

You can request anonymization or deletion of your donor profile (except where data must be retained for legal reasons) by contacting support@picklepedia.org.

a. Public Donor Profiles

When you use the Picklepedia app and make a donation or contribution, we may create a public donor profile that displays the following information to other Picklepedia users and community members:

• Profile picture (if provided)
• Pickleball skill level (if provided)
• Location (city/region, if provided)
• Donor status or contribution history

This information is publicly visible to other users within the Picklepedia community and may be displayed on our website and app. By creating an app account and making a donation, you consent to this information being displayed publicly.

Your Privacy Options:

• You can request your profile be made private or anonymized at any time
• You can update or remove your profile picture
• You can request deletion of your public profile by contacting serve@picklepedia.org
• If you prefer complete anonymity from the start, please contact us before making a donation

6. Cookies and Analytics

Picklepedia uses cookies and similar technologies to:
