In 2020, Tyler made his professional debut, marking the beginning of a promising career.

He achieved notable success in his early years, including a second-place finish in men’s pro singles at the 2018 Nationals and a triple crown at the 2018 Canadian Open, winning men’s doubles, singles, and mixed doubles titles. ) His rapid ascent in the professional ranks was marked by consistent performances and a dedication to refining his skills. Training under esteemed coaches and partnering with top-tier players, Tyler honed his technique and strategic approach to the game.

His commitment to excellence and continuous improvement propelled him to the forefront of the pickleball scene. As of November 2025, Tyler continues to compete at a high level, representing the Utah Black Diamonds in the MLP. He is recognized for his distinctive left-handed play and his signature Erne shot, earning him the nickname “Erne King” on the tour.
