Born in Saudi Arabia and of Indian descent, Milan Rane moved to Rome, Georgia, at the age of 10, where she attended Darlington boarding school and developed a passion for tennis. After high school, she pursued higher education at Florida Atlantic University, majoring in marketing, and worked as a certified fitness instructor. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Milan was introduced to pickleball by her brother, and what began as a recreational activity quickly transformed into a competitive pursuit.

She began playing competitively in 2021 and has since achieved notable successes, including securing a gold medal in singles at the World Pickleball Open and a bronze medal in women’s doubles at the APP South Carolina Open. In 2022, she turned professional and has been a consistent performer in Major League Pickleball, representing the Miami Pickleball Club across multiple seasons. Milan’s playing style is characterized by her adaptability and strategic approach, allowing her to excel in both singles and doubles formats.

Her dedication to the sport is evident in her rigorous training regimen, which includes kickboxing and teaching fitness classes, and her commitment to continuous improvement. Looking ahead, Milan aims to further elevate her game, pursue additional titles, and contribute to the growth and popularity of pickleball.
