Mary Brascia grew up in Mission Viejo, California, where she was introduced to various sports, including swimming, golf, softball, soccer, and tennis. In 2020, her parents introduced her to pickleball, and despite initial hesitation, she quickly became passionate about the sport, playing daily. Her strong tennis background facilitated a smooth transition to pickleball, and she made her professional debut in October 2020 at a PPA tournament in Las Vegas, winning the 5.

0 division. After graduating from Biola University in May 2022, she turned professional and began competing on the PPA Tour, often partnering with her sister, Maggie Brascia. In 2023, she secured her first PPA silver medal in women’s singles at the Acrytech Atlanta Open, and in 2024, she clinched her first gold medal at the Red Rock Open.

Known for her defensive skills and scrappy play, she also enjoys quick-hand exchanges and playing women’s doubles alongside her sister. Mary resides in Mission Viejo, California, and is sponsored by Selkirk Sport, using the Halo Pro XL for singles and the Halo Pro Max for doubles.
