Daniel’s Profile

Born and raised in Evergreen, Colorado, Daniel Jensen was immersed in sports from a young age, with soccer being his primary focus. His athletic prowess led him to Ohio State University, where he became a standout player, ranking in the top 10 for goals, assists, and points. However, his promising soccer career was abruptly halted due to a severe concussion sustained during his senior year, necessitating facial reconstructive surgery and ending his time on the field.

After completing his degree in Business, Jensen relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona, seeking new opportunities and a change of environment. It was there, in July 2021, that he was introduced to pickleball during a casual game at Herberger Park. Despite lacking a background in racquet sports, Jensen was immediately captivated by the game’s dynamics and the personal responsibility it demanded, drawing parallels to chess and boxing.

This newfound passion led him to dedicate over two years to rigorous training, aiming to excel in the professional pickleball arena. His commitment paid off as he joined the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour in 2023, competing in various tournaments and steadily improving his performance. In December 2024, Jensen embarked on a 14-day tour across U.

S. military bases in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Djibouti, sharing his love for pickleball with service members stationed overseas. This initiative was followed by a 23-day tour in March 2025, visiting bases in England, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Kosovo, and North Macedonia, further solidifying his dedication to the sport and its community.

As of November 2025, Jensen continues to compete professionally, residing in Scottsdale, Arizona, and remains committed to both his athletic pursuits and philanthropic endeavors.
