Allyce’s Profile

Raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Allyce Jones was immersed in sports from an early age, excelling in softball, tennis, and volleyball during her high school years. Her passion for volleyball led her to Utah Valley University, where she set defensive records and earned accolades such as Conference Defensive Player of the Year and UVU Female Athlete of the Year. After college, she dedicated herself to teaching and coaching, leading Pleasant Grove High School’s volleyball team to four state championships and earning the NFHS Coach of the Year award for the West Region.

Amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Allyce discovered pickleball through her mother, Sheryl, who introduced the sport to her after finding it on YouTube. What began as casual games in her high school gym with family and faculty quickly turned into a passion. Leveraging her athletic background and strong work ethic, Allyce began practicing daily, participating in local tournaments, and rapidly making a name for herself in the pickleball community.

By 2021, she turned professional, joining the PPA Tour and quickly establishing herself as a top player. Known for her aggressive, fast-paced style, she has secured multiple tournament titles, including a gold medal at the 2022 Las Vegas MGM Bubbly PPA Team Event. Off the court, Allyce is a devoted wife and mother, homeschooling her daughter Leah and coaching her in various sports, including pickleball.

She often expresses a desire to one day play doubles with Leah professionally, reflecting her deep commitment to both her family and the sport.
