Born and raised in northern Utah, Allison Phillips is the sixth of eight children in a family deeply involved in pickleball. She began playing the sport at the age of 13, balancing it alongside tennis and soccer. Her early exposure to pickleball, combined with her athletic background, set the stage for her future success in the sport.

The competitive nature of pickleball and its strategic depth drew her in, allowing her to leverage her skills from other sports. Her family’s enthusiasm for the game provided a supportive environment that nurtured her passion and growth in pickleball. This foundation laid the groundwork for her impressive achievements in the years to come.

In 2019, at just 16 years old, she clinched the Women’s Singles 4. 0 19+ title at the Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships, marking her as a formidable competitor. The following year, she achieved a Triple Crown at the AAU World Junior Olympics, securing titles in Women’s Singles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

These victories underscored her versatility and prowess across different formats of the game. In 2022, she was ranked as the No. 1 female college pickleball player in both singles and doubles by DUPR, reflecting her dominance at the collegiate level.

Her commitment to the sport led her to turn professional in 2023, signing with the PPA Tour and joining the New Jersey 5’s in Major League Pickleball. This transition marked a significant milestone in her career, allowing her to compete at the highest levels of the sport. As of November 2025, she has participated in 55 professional tournaments, playing a total of 255 matches with a career win rate of 40.
