Born on July 19, 1999, in Voorhees, New Jersey, Brooke Caruso demonstrated athletic prowess from an early age. She was a four-year starter and senior captain at Holy Cross Academy, where she amassed over 100 points in each of her last three seasons, totaling 413 career points, making her the all-time leading goal scorer at the school. Her exceptional performance earned her the Burlington County Scholastic League Player of the Year and a spot on the US Lacrosse Academic All-American Team in 2017.

Continuing her athletic journey, Caruso played Division I lacrosse at George Washington University from 2017 to 2019, contributing to the team’s success and earning a place on the GW Athletics Academic Dean’s List. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration and International Business, she transitioned to pickleball in late 2020, quickly committing to the professional circuit by 2021.
